If the client account has 2 step authentication enabled on it you will receive the below prompt right after you have filled in the username and password to a specific account using the LastPass extension.

Step 1 and 2: Please click on Cancel and ‘Try another way’ and then ‘Get a verification code from Google Authenticator app’:

Step 3: Go onto your LastPass vault and select the credential that you were trying to access and click on the spanner/edit button:

Step 4: Unhide the one-time passcode by clickling on the eye icon and copy the code.

Step 5: Enter the code:
