Platform credentials sometimes referred to as 'Task credentials' are a feature used to provide increased security. They enable us to:

• Grant standard access only to the accounts needed for a task
• Grant standard access only for the duration of a task 
• Have an audit trail of changes which can be traced to a specific task

You should receive a backup code to access the account via an SMS to the phone number that you have verified within your profile. To verify a phone number in your profile please go to this help centre article. 

However, the SMS service is not available in certain countries, therefore at time, we may need to send these via email.

Once you have verified your phone number to your account if you do not receive the verification code please email croudsupport@croud.com and we can register you to receive the codes via email.
